How to play

Setup
  • 4–10 players. Each gets one word.
  • Most get the civilian word. A minority get a similar but different spy word (e.g. apple vs pear).
  • Spy count by table size: 4–5 players → 1 spy, 6–8 → 2 spies, 9–10 → 3 spies.
  • 🃏 Blank cards (hard mode): with 2 spies, 1 holds the spy word and 1 is blank (no word at all — must bluff blind). With 3 spies, 1 holds the word and 2 are blanks.
  • Nobody is told their faction. You only see your own word — figure out the rest from descriptions.
Each round
  • Everyone gives a one-sentence description (≤ 30 chars / 20 words).
  • You can lie, mislead, fake suspicions. That's the game.
  • From round 2 you may add who you suspect.
  • All survivors vote. Highest votes is out (their word is revealed).
Forbidden
  • Saying the keyword itself = instant elimination.
  • Repeating other players' keywords — switch angles.
Win conditions
  • 🏆 Civilians win if all spies are voted out (and the spy comeback guess fails).
  • 🏆 Spies win if surviving spies ≥ surviving civilians, OR the last-eliminated spy correctly guesses the civilian word (60s comeback).
  • Tie vote → tied players re-describe + everyone re-votes. Tied again → no one is eliminated, next round.
